A unique painting in oils of the road leading out from the beautiful village of Dalkey towards the Vico Baths. My wife and I headed out there on a splendid summer's day for a swim in the sea. Coming home, I stopped and looked back and this house was bathed in golden light. What a perfect day. Painted as a demonstration in the Impressionist style for my class in Dublin.
